The "Sun" Wall at Norma's at the Parker Palm Springs

I had the great fortune of spending 48 hours with my sister at The Parker Palm Springs for a quick girls’ getaway to celebrate my birthday (which was last month) and kick off summer with some quality sister time. It was hot, hot, hot with Saturday’s temperature maxing out around 120 degrees.  However, we managed to stay cool (with a few quibbles over the room temperature) and fill our short time together with many giggles, old and new jokes, some quality catching up and a couple of treatments at the Parker’s amazing spa, the Palm Springs Yacht Club. We both agreed that 2 days was way too short for a getaway and that next time we will realize that it takes some more time to settle into true R&R.  I am thankful for the time that we had to welcome in summer together (perhaps next time in a locale not so dramatically sun-filled!).  We are now trying to think of when and how we can convince our brothers to join us for a weekend away.  Any ideas?
