Birthday Days…

My birthday was yesterday.  I started celebrating quietly with friends on Sunday.  A dance party (not so quiet) with my little girl and girlfriends in Anne’s kitchen.  A raw chocolate tart that was quite heavenly (thank you, Anne).  A dinner to celebrate Lil’ Hill’s graduation from UCSB. A trip to LA to go to an old family Italian favorite restaurant, Da Pasquale, for dinner and to see Florence + the Machine (so much more than a concert…she is such an amazing inspiration and expression of creativity and passion) with the Adesso team and my sister. A quick visit with our PR team at Bollare this morning.  An inspirational visit to The Melrose Project on the way back to the car (lesson remembered to always take the 10 minutes to stop in and see what other artists are up to).  A delicious, humorous lunch at the M Cafe’ and a calm drive back to Santa Barbara.  I have included some images that represent some highlights of this birthday. I enter this next year thankful to be doing what I love and ever more inspired by the possibilities to do more and be better at it all.

Liberty, Lil' Hill and I took the night off of Adesso and had some fun celebrating (Liberty's birthday was the day before mine and Lil' Hill graduated UCSB on the same day!)...

Magical evening spent at the Florence + the Machine concert

Frida Giannini of Gucci nailed it with Florence's gorgeous chartreuse silk chiffon gown. It added so much drama and beauty to her performance. So inspirational!
