Santa Barbara Birth Center Fashion Show
Adesso bejeweled the models for the Santa Barbara Birth Center Fashion Show at the Tennis Club of Santa Barbara on Saturday, August 14th, 2010. Fashions from Kate, Dressed & Ready, So del Mel, Blue Bee, K. Frank and Amelia Jane were featured with pieces from Adesso's latest Fall & Signature collections. Adesso also donated 25% of proceeds from sales that evening to the Santa Barbara Birth Center.

Adesso for Dream Foundation Launch Party
On June 24, Adesso hosted a launch party for the Adesso for Dream Foundation Collection at the Coral Casino. Guests shopped Adesso's Dream Foundation, Signature and Spring 2010 collections while enjoying a special Adesso cocktail, wine and delicious small bites. The beautiful, seaside event was planned by Merryl Brown of Merryl Brown Events. Eat-Drink-Garden with Valerie designed the gorgeous, nature-inspired floral arrangements to compliment the jewelry. 25 percent of Adesso's Signature and Spring 2010 collection sales from the evening were donated to the Dream Foundation. 100 percent of proceeds from the Adesso for Dream Foundation Collection from that evening and from our online sales are donated to the Dream Foundation. Jewelry Trunk Show at Lola in Carpinteria, Friday June 4th, 5-8pm
Lola held a trunk show with Adesso Jewelry as part of First Friday in Carpinteria. Local designer Samantha Goldstone's jewelry has been featured in Oprah magazine. Lola will be donating 10% of sales during the event to the Dream Foundation. Wine tasting was with Summerland winery.

Adesso Trunk Show for Tribal Trust Foundation at Santa Barbara Museum of Art's 1st Thursday on May 6th, 5-8pm
Adesso held a trunk show at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art’s 1st Thursday event on May 6th from 5 to 8 pm to benefit various charities that make up the African Collaboration Group, composed of several Santa Barbara based non-profit organizations. Adesso is working directly with the Tribal Trust Foundation to raise awareness and funds for a project in the Congo to preserve indigenous living arts there. A percentage of Adesso’s proceeds from the 1st Thursday trunk show will be donated to the Tribal Trust Foundation. Attendees talked with the founders of over 20 nonprofit organizations addressing issues of education, cultural preservation, trauma counseling, health, family planning, and economic empowerment in Africa.

NYC Editor Preview & Trunk Show at Soho House New York
Adesso will be showing both Holiday 2009 and Spring 2010 pieces at the Soho House event. Additionally, Adesso has designed a limited edition collection for the Tribal Trust Foundation’s Congo Project that will be debuted at the Soho House New York event. A portion of proceeds from this limited edition collection, featuring hammered gold heart charms, will go towards the Tribal Trust’s efforts to preserve the living arts of indigenous cultures.

The Tribal Trust Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and raising awareness about the living arts of indigenous people around the world, has the rare opportunity to film in the “Heart of Darkness,” the Ituri Forest of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This initiative will foster international awareness and appreciation of the threatened Congo Rainforest and the indigenous culture of the BaMbuti, Pygmy Hunter Gatherers, inspiring a call to action. The film will provide an indigenous perspective of what the world would lose if we do not take action to help immediately. Adesso designer and owner, Samantha Goldstone, was touched by the tremendous knowledge of the environment, healing and arts that the BaMbuti people possess. Awareness of what is happening in the Congo Rainforest is a key step towards preventing the devastating loss of medicinal, artistic and sustainable living principles that will ensue if our environment and indigenous cultures are not protected.
Trunk Show at L’Armoire in New Canaan, Connecticut
On Friday, December 4 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Project Runway Winner Christian Siriano will be part of the New Canaan Holiday Stroll kick off, when he returns to L’Armoire for a trunk show, personal appearance, and book signing. Adesso will also be holding a trunk show during this special event. Adesso owner and designer Samantha Goldstone will be in the store with Siriano and pairing looks from her line with Siriano’s current and future collections. Designer Siriano and Diane Roth, fashion specialist and owner of L'Armoire, are featured in the sixth photo below at Siriano's April 2009 L'Armoire Trunk Show.

8th Annual First Ladies of Dream Foundation Evening of Entertainment, Fashion and Dreams
Adesso donated a whimsical necklace (below left) to support the Dream Foundation’s sold out annual gala, which raises money to grant wishes for adults with life-threatening illnesses. Community Environmental Council’s Annual “Green Gala”
Adesso was invited to provide a necklace that was featured as a CEC “Greenpoints” grand prize for the organization’s annual gala in Santa Barbara, California. The event was produced by Santa Barbara event planner Merryl Brown Events.
